Elevenses…Time for a cuppa!
“I promise not to inundate you with emails, or stuff but I will try my utmost to be as authentic as possible so that it might resonate with what you’re thinking, feeling, and doing. ”
Thank you so much for making your way over to my blog.
It's almost 11 o'clock so in my view definitely time for Elevenses. Grab yourself a cuppa (and a biscuit of your choice) and settle down for a minute or two.
There's so much on my mind, and as a bit of a talker, I have to share.
Don't get me wrong; I love creating and designing; I see writing as another creative outlet. Especially in lockdown, being creative has undoubtedly helped, but what I've missed most of all is communicating, interacting, and hugging my mates. Well, I embrace absolutely anything and anyone: when this whole debacle has ended, I shall be hugging you too. That is indeed a warning!
If it works for you, feel free to add a comment. Let me know what's on your mind. As you know, "sharing is caring"!
On a day like today, when the sun is peaking out, it's easy to be full of the joys of spring. But on those colder, wetter, miserable weather days, there's nothing better than seeing a mate for a chat and a drink (insert your favourite beverage!).
Right now, for reasons way beyond our control, we're not able to communicate in all the ways we would like. But there are still avenues open to us. Letter writing still exists….. who knew! I often send notes to people with a brief message, but sometimes there's so much more to say.
Letter writing is having a renaissance, and I can understand why. There is something so personal receiving a letter in someone's hand. It's great to know that someone has taken the trouble to sit down and write to you. And it's much better than the usual post many of us receive, i.e., bills.
A letter lets the receiver decide when and how they want to read it. I've heard that some people read my missives in the bath.
An interesting idea but one that can end up a bit damp!
Hugs
